im quite proud to say i actually kept to my 2004 new year resolutions! well most are quite kept to anywaes. hahaha. so its time to make this year's list now. MY RESOLUTIONS 2005 # to earn some money of my own by getting a job # studying seriously wherever i land after Os # to strengthen my faith (i really needa work on this) # try to be a better friend. and girlfriend. :D # have more trust in people # control my temper and moodswings. hahah # learn something new eg. french, violin, guitar.. # not swearing so much and so often this year started off with me worrying like mad for Os. (i still am, come to think of it hahah) then the best thing happened and the most wonderful guy ever entered my life. :)) thru sec one camp, my long stay in hospital, class tests, the stress from school and all, i saw the love warmth and friendship from people who sincerely cared. pals like anisha and charl, jes and rebby, mel and jolyn. people who were with me thru everything. i love you guys! and sjcband..we've come reaal far this year havent we. concerts and performances aside, im gonna miss the funny practices and all. there were friendship issues throughout this year. i shed my share of tears, had my share of anger, smiled my share of smiles. and i think this year has been GREAT! so yupps. im looking forward to the new year. HAPPY 2005 GUYS !! :)
Wednesday, December 29, 2004 @ 8:29 pm the year seems to be zooming past aye. like whoa its already three days before the start of a brand new year. i see grumbles of sch reopening in jus abt everyone's blogs. AWW MY HEART GOES OUT TO YA ALL LA. hahaha! x) well anywaes. birthdays are one of those few cool annual things. happy birthday sherlyn! happy birthday gillian! :)) i hope you guys enjoyed your special days. lol. spent the night over at sherlyn's place yesterday celebrating her sweet sixteen. ate chilled slacked talked. both of us were up talking til about two, and from what we were talking about, it dawned on me how significant the past four years of my life had been to me, and how very lucky i've been, esp this year. hmms. christabel and i went job hunting on monday. haha its darn fun to go out with my bestie please! our search started from gardens to j8 to plaza sing to citylink and allll the way to suntec. like we totally lost count of the number of times we jus walked into random shops, rambled "excuse me, do you have any part time jobs available here?" and then walk out again and try somewhere else. mouth was runnin dry ah. lol met plentyy of people along the way :) yupps and we ended up in sizzler fer lunch! yummy. we decided to walk one round arnd that fountain of wealth thing there and make a wish..hahaha so i wished i'd really get the job i wanted! so if you're all wondering, yes i do have a job now. though im not quite sure of details yet. updates soon! hehehe. and please all pray chris will get the job with me!! i need a GREAT colleague! :D rahhhs. that tsunami thing is so saddening, and gruesome, and awful to have taken place arnd xmas time. esp the scenes they show over and over again on tv and in the papers. stiffened bodies, wrecked villages, packed hospitals and all. -shudder- this giant waves thing wont go as far as the philippines, will it? :( baby i miss you. Monday, December 27, 2004 @ 9:51 am you know that kinda feeling you get when someone dear is out of town, and you realise your phone's so darn silent because there arent any sweet messages or calls cumin in, and you feel a pinch of loneliness and boredom and worried-ness all mixed together, and there's no one else you actually feel like turning to at this particular time. and when you wanna share a joke, but hey the person who'll enjoy it and laugh like maad with you is halfway around the world. and when you jus wanna talk your heart out at night before you fall asleep and laugh and criticize at all the crazy stuff that took place during the day, but dang there aint that person around to talk with. and when you needa hear comforting words say after a scolding, but no one's there to provide a hug and reassurance. then you come to realise that, even though you dont wanna be so dependable on that one person because he's jus away a few days, you're actually missing this person undescribably much now. yeahh. im feeling exactly like that. SMILESMILESMILE!!! :) :) :) hmm. i hope i get to smile alot this christmas. my presents are turning out quite few, but nicenice!! i am happyy. watched the advant play last night, where jared was some king guy. hehheh it kinda sounded like he was king ARSE. midnight mass after. then popped over to kristine's place with him. kris alex nick and i played the game of life again! jus like last year ehh. lols.. watched a bit of white chicks too, hahaha which is so effing hilarious man. walked over to jared's place around four in the morn. pigged on ferrero rochers and the delicious mark and spencer biscuits there. and then our christmas breakfast was at mcdonalds! that piggo was practically half asleep by then though. LOL. i am so sick of wrapping christmas presents pleasssee!!! aahhh people who do get gifts from me, do APPRECIATE the wrapping ok? :D Friday, December 24, 2004 @ 11:37 am I LOVE MY MONSTERR !! :D hahaha i so cant believe its christmas eve today. boy time really really flies. went shopping again with my monsterr yesterday. got all my last minute presents, and he got his niceNICEnice coat, then we went back to his house to do wrapping and cards and what nots. held a mini fashion parade there; jared nicely paraded around in front of the mirror in his new christmas clothes and commented proudly to himself how damn handsome he is as usual. that's my mister big-huge-ego for you. x) LOL. hmms. come to think of it, i absolutely cannot believe im gonna wear what i'll be wearing tonight at midnight mass! hahaha. it'll truly be a first and ya'll better not laugh k! aahhh. im off to do some more wrapping. the christmas tree at my house is terribly bare beneath. please send presents over so it'll be filled. thank you. :)) merry christmas !
Wednesday, December 22, 2004 @ 10:58 am hellowellos!! here's what i've been up to. hahaha. monday - wenta catch national treasure in the morning with my bro. nobaaadd! there's stuff abt the templar knights and all..ya noe, the thing dan brown was writing abt in da vinci code. yep. very cool! had kfc for lunch, then jared met me and we went off to shop fer awhile. met sherlyn in the afternoon and then we left fer shaun's chalet. hohoho i've learnt how to start a bbq properly now. hoorays! :) and it was damn fun talking and laughing with all of em there. joy, sabrina, sharon, celeste and all. ladeedums. i decided to stay over eventually. but jared and i took a cab and sent sherlyn home first, and then we cabbed back to changi. which totalled to a grand amt of 30bucks fer one taxi ride! tuesday - left while all of them were still asleep. cabbed home. hahaha my parents were back from bangkok and hell i've got a truckload of new clothes!! xmas and cny clothes are settled. :D went to tan tock seng fer a checkup, visited charl who jus got the metal support off her leg, then went fer band chalet at pasir ris. wah damn maaadd there i tell you! lol that is why i sooo love my band peeps..they're super duper enthu and super duper hyper. tried to ride the two person bike with mersa, but i think we ended up walking the bike and screaming away more than anything. hahaha. oh and we had another band next door fer neighbours! i think the guy there was jus drawn to *ahem one person from our side yea? he passed us five stingrays to eat okay!! I WENT TO PLAY POOL AGAIN !! hahaha thats the 3rd time this week. and i think i really like hitting the white ball in. because other than that ball, no other ball goes in soooo frequently. lolx. played at cine with jared fer an hr plus, then after that we wandered aimlessly down orchard. went into taka and pretended to walk around like effing richkids! all the nicenice hugo boss and stuff and such. hehheh the guy at tiffanys and co even held open the door fer us to go in because we looked like we were gonna do jus that. but i felt silly walking in there with an empty wallet so hahaha silly jared walked in and out of there himself. :) took pics at the nice tall christmas tree! ladeedums.. then we went to wisma, and then to the mrt station. hehehe. took to city hall. we went to have a bite at starbucks before going to meet my family at the soup spoon. which btw has quite yummeh soups! haha then we went to raffles hotel, fer some local production pantomine of Aladdin!! hahaha it was hilariously entertaining, esp when the kids in the hall replied to whatever the actors were asking. badguy "what's the password to open the cave ah?" little boy in audience shouts "OPEN SESAME !!" badguy "that's from ali baba la, what show you watching boy?" LOL. so fer a local production, i'll say it aint too bad. oh yeah. my monsterr said he's gonna get me this cute lil (real) crystal snowman with his first fulltime job's paycheck!! hehehe..how sweet. everyone help him remember his promise okayy? Thursday, December 02, 2004 @ 8:59 am im back here at my very abandoned blog after one looong eventful week!! happy reading, this entry might jus stretch into a really long one. lol. firstly, new zealand!!! hohoho it was superrr great! it was friggin cold with extremly strong winds, but at the same time, it was hot! this can be seen from my quite burnt face, where all of the skin around my glasses are tanner. looks damn funneh. anyway i did a ton of new stuff. fishing for trout on the lake, rapid shooting, exploring caves, climbing hills, seeing real volcanoes, horseback riding on the mountains. twas cool. new zealand's full of nature and scenery stuff, somewhere to go to jus let loose and all. fits me just right for a holiday after the Os. :) came back, and i had to get ready fer prom night! well dress and shoes and all i'd gotten earlier, jus had to get mi hair done. i now have short hair with short fringe! believe me, i didnt have a short fringe since like, primary school, and hmm its bit hard getting use to it. lolx. but i got nice brown highlights now too!! yayy! so prom night was at hyatt hotel, and man was it grand! everybody was sooo nicely dressed up, you'll see from the pics i upload soon. funfun. and finally, after four oh-so-long years.. I'VE RECEIVED MY GRADUATING CERT!! woohooo! :D yupps. so after dinner and lucky draw and games and stuff, there was dancing! waaay cool! hahaha. went up to the hotel room anisha, sangeetha and i were sharing for the night after awhile, to accompany jared who popped by! :) oh our room was a junior suite, and man it was damn nice! well about 1am all of us went out to wander down orchard road and see if we could catch a show. sadly every cinema was close (cept one in causeway point). anyway the night was young and it went on til about four plus, where after plenty of laughing and jokes, we all finally managed to fall asleep. though there were some pretty noisy people in bed eh. -winks! in the morn, the three of us went fer brunch, and then mom came to send me to school to send me for band prac. gawd its been sucha long time since i played my tuba baby!! my lips were practically numb from playing yesterday, and i sorta couldnt play the long notes and all. bad bad. well i've got about nine songs to learn til the concert! lets all pray and hope i can. hahaha. i miss band sooo much k! and finally, TAUFIK IS THE SINGAPORE IDOL!! cool. singapore aint gonna 'throw face' anymore.
