Back from KL!

Shopping trip there indeed! Every single one of those 4 days were well-spent - shop, eat, repeat! hahaha, KL's an alright shopping area I guess, doesnt beat Bangkok. We stayed in some Swiss Garden Hotel thats right on the outskirts of the Golden Triangle, KL's Orchard Road area. everything for the convenience of shoppinggggg!

ok so we took a flight there, Japan Airlines. oh and it was bloody cool ok; when we were taking off they turned on the screens to show the pilot's view from the front of the plane, so from the time the plane was taxi-ing off changi airport to when it gained speed and vroom-ed off the runway and lifted into the nightsky with all the lights on mainland getting smaller and smaller, I could see it all happening! waaay cool ok. heh I quite felt like being a pilot when I saw that.

Claire and I on the express train that we had to take from the airport to get to Central KL. Cool train too la, hahaha it reminded me of taking the Hogwarts express! ah the littlest things excite me aye. (:

Times Square for the first day! There's an indoor theme park within this mall, and apparently there're more than 1000 shops in this place so I thought, wheee thats quite like paradise what right!

but, 12 storeys of shops later and I still hadnt bought anything man. friggin disappointing, no? mostly the good stuff were in boutiques like Mango and Espirit, but where's the fun if you can get that all in Singapore at almost the same prices too right! sigh.

anyways.. I found a DairyKing!! I used to love icecream from here to bits because they had nice names like Clown and Spaceship and Bunny for their icecreams, then they closed down operations in Singapore or smthing. so yes, yay! and for old times sake, I got myself a Clown cone. lol

we had to walk down the street of bukit bintang every night to get back to the hotel, so yeah thats where the nightlife and the interesting people/sights are.

mad james bond taxis that drive up curbs and weave past the crowd for a parking space..

& yumyum food stores. LOL!

another whole day spent at KLCC next. mega-mall again, and I LOVE THIS PLACE OK! wah I wish vivocity was like that too. :D

Jap food there is uber worth it. we had 4 set meals for lunch, all nicely presented in this basket thingy with alot of good stuff as side dishes, and each came up to like, about 16 sing dollars at most? superb okay! I had alot of greentea iceream there too. green tea icecream is ♥!

They have real pretty christmas deco around! some malls even have those snow thingies falling from high up, and it looks tons more realistic than what we had at the Gardens christmas celebration two weeks back. lol. carollers around alot too. sure felt alot more Christmas-y over there!

Another super great Japanese lunch to end the trip (this place is like a MUST if you head to KL, really, the buffet spread is sooo amazing)

taxi-ed to the airport, toll-booth jams..

flight delay, but finally on board..

..and finally, (from the pilot's view again!) runway lights of Changi that show we're home at last! :D

hokay i needa find space for all my new stuff soon my wadrobe is already bursting and i cant wait for christmas to come now i've gotten my dress and i needa go shower now outing with all the girls later hoorah so ciao now brown cow! :D

Someone out there's holding that blue DKNY watch I wanted to get at the Fossil sale the other day. It was going for just 50 Dollars ok, authentic and leather-strapped all, dangs. Ya'll know how sad it is when you like finally make up your mind after about a million years to get this damn nice something la right, then you come back to the shop all joyous but realise someone else just took the very last piece and is paying for it right at that moment? GAH, THAT HAPPENED. ): (but ok, I made up for that by getting another quite stylo one in black, meheheh! :} )

Its supposed to be the first day of the hols today! Seems like it started ages ago though, lol. I've been out the entire weekend alr and gawd I feel quite quite broke. movies and food and presto, there it all goes. sigh! To Espirit later today, and hopefully, that'll be the last I spend on my christmas outfit. ah but then again, there's gonna be..

KL!!! flying off thursday. its gonna be four whole days of shopping and eating and fun with the family (cept Aaron, who's far away Down Under). okay, yay! :D

everybody said "yes yes lets meetup during the holidays ok!". The holidays are so here, yet pffft, it irks me so much that there just isn't enough time to meet up with everybody to catch up! barely enough time to deal with homework too? ugh lol I think I should do up my peernotes before I leave man; don't wanna be worrying about unfinished assignments on New Year's Day.

ah McDelivery is here. finally, lunch.

Power suits can make one do stupid things, I swear.

just today. I came home after the interview cursing at the heat and the heels, sat down, and had this really mad mad random thought about going jogging. srsly man. but what the hell, I thought, so I got up and really went joggin! no kiddin! So up and down the slopes of Kensington Park, in my suave blue new standchartmarathon adidas singlet, ponytail bouncing, warm sun shining, cool wind against my skin, oh I was soaring, flyinggg...

hahahahaha after which I came back ah, and died flat out on my balcony floor for ten whole fuckin minutes ok!! LMAO!

lol ah but whatever! being able to get my lazy ass out to do some exercise is all that counts, yes? ((: it counts alootttt. I feel so accomplished today! yay.

okaaay, I just had this thought about needing to get myself a 2nd job.

hmmm. gah. POWER SUITS, BURN IN HELLLL.

i am so shittin' tired.
my eyelids feel so heavy & droopy, don't even ask why im still up.
sometimes, i don't even understand myself ah. lol

pfftt!

so. sunday was exhaustive.
standard chartered marathon duties from the wee hours of the morn! i collected and tagged and sorted and handled and searched for and returned about a thousand and one bags, and it was quite a madhouse in the baggage deposit tent i tell you. pretty interesting experience, though. stupid field rats scampering around, those bloody things, and dozing away under tents by the esplanade, hahaha all part of the coolness manzz.

and carolling carolling carolling that night! usual people, usual place, usual parts, usual stage. it went greaaat!..and I got to catch up with the girls all, its been long. mmm. free dinners, icecube chillin, carols & the girls; thats always been how my Christmas seasons begin. (:

last week of the term, two tests today (blah!). went to parkway with isaac gab joshua and feli fer the afternoon. and i bought a black sweater top today that just simply reminds me of winter and chillyair and christmas atmosphere! oh, it is comfy love.

and now. to bed i shall run, kthxgnite!

really heartwarming act of love. (:

sometimes, just one hug can do so much magic to one person's day. "..because love will always have an impact on other people's lives" , Fr Vaz said earlier. putting a genuine smile across someone's face is just the beginning.
