i heart ikea! This is my Friday afternoon, in pikchurs! (: YEA IKEA (AGAIN!)   lunch ; 3 of us!  (:  isaac!  feli!   (whats filling the trolley isnt ikea stuff. its just our school books and bags. lol)     good bye! retardedly-fun day, i like! :D Thursday, April 26, 2007 @ 11:13 pm Week One I love the starting of school! Just the right amount of school-ness + just the right amount of holiday slack-ness in the air still = Shiok! :D Monday I attended a very boring morning lect, and was all sianed and about to head home after that when.. Merissa called! YAY hahaha she was in tp with Pam so we hung out, after so long! (: chilled in the project room with them til Pam's lect, then we crashed and attended it altogether. lol goodness I couldn't have crashed a 'better' lecture please, lisa chua was the lecturer and she spotted me. :O ahwells! amongst us we played Hangman and I Spy all through tt hour. lol, and after that it was to town for a SUPERRR good shopping trip, (finally got that f21 dress zomgggg!) hahaha man twas sucha great way to end off a first day of school la I tell you. hmm. so the group's started project discussion for SIT alr, plus we've got our event for CorpEventMgt settled. doing an event with Dad for the cc, couldn't be better I guess! real glad, hopefully this sem goes well in terms of the grades and all. having same groupmates rock! Man I've missed design canteen's ChickenCutlet & Cheese! oh and biz school's Chinese food too. YUMXORS! holidays always make me crave for school food like some.. savage. tummy-rumbling madness :/ Oh but tomorrow it's to IKEA tampines for lunch instead, cant wait for meatballs and salmon (as usual!). thank you for putting ikea near tp, mister government people. ((: So! one more lecture tmr morn and first week ends. Not to be a spoiler but I guess school's gonna built up into a monster as the weeks go on, third year cant be this much of a breeze. right? rahhhh.. BUT HECK, ITS NOT HERE YET. (:  Phantom night, beloved band, our huge Oosters pile, Ikea was cool, Vivo, thats YV's Easter smiles. Kitties at yve's and the cutest korean kids, & to Bintan we went with love in our midst! .. and so so so much more than people and pictures can tell. sigh! this has kinda been the last long poly hols, next semester break I get thrown into internship. ): and after that its graduation, wahh chooo chooo! how fast please. ahaha. can't wait to be warped in schoolwork la..though i might take that back in a few weeks time. Cheers to 3rdYear, now g'night you all! Saturday, April 21, 2007 @ 1:55 am music of the night Phantom of the Opera earlier, it was AWESOME! ♥♥ Srsly man! Nothing beats the experience of this musical at the Esplanade, with very lovely pieces of music, the best of stage effects and props, that big grand chandelier that came crashing down, and of course the Phantom himself. I loved every minute of it, and I loveloveloved this christmas gift; thank you lorryloads mister! J told me 6dollar waffles day aren't just tuedays, but EVERYDAY! double yayness indeed, hehhh ((: headed to school for a class meeting today, then I bussed down to RP..not that far from TP after all. maannn its one helluva cool school dude! met Jared in their cool library and we hung out there fer awhile. Cafe Galilee in the library ok!..haha grabbed a bite and we played pool. and walked all over to lookseelooksee after that. aircon buildings, escalators..heh I was quite wowed la. its definately a different, more chillout-relaxed-hightech kinda environment there.. I LOIKE! :D Wednesday, April 18, 2007 @ 2:44 pm B for Band bandday at SJC yesterday. The girls had their SYF yesterday, and I went back to visit, lend support, and enjoy that band atmosphere I miss. twas one helluva early visit man - but the minute I stepped into the familiar band room and watched the solemn band on their final rehearsal before the nervewrecking performance ahead of them, it was like WOOOSHH. haha yea, all that feeling of being a part of that harmonious music and that lovely band family came back and washed right over me. you'll never know what Im talking about lest you've been there I guess. How so many different instruments can play so many different parts, and yet it all weaves together and fits so right that it forms out one lovely song; that fact of the Band still never ceases to amaze me. I remember the first time I played an entire piece as part of the main band, way back in late s1 that year i think? as the song formed out of our many instruments, I, that little junior who thought no more than playing my simple tuba notes, sat stunned in the awesomeness of things. haha I remember trying to stop the wide grin that my lips were forming as I was playing (note: you cant grin and play any note right at the same time, not on the tuba), but yeahh..it was THAT amazing a feeling. that's jus one thing I've missed since leaving the band. okay, sidetracked. well anyway, took the bus to the singapore conference hall with the girls and the other ex-seniors. wah the hefty weight of my big ol' golden instrument, i miss! Emm let me carry it fer awhile. its practically psychotic, I know, hahah but its jus something about carrying a tuba i guess. I cannot ever imagine myself wanting to be seen carrying a.. clarinet. Heh (but not tt clarinets suck or anything la!). Journey there was unbelivably silent; we seniors used to do band cheers oie oie oie and talk cock sing song all the way to syf to keep our nerves in check, if I remember right. hohum. ok la and I'll do the rest of yesterday's day in point form, because laziness attacks! - so they did Sunrise and Digital Prisms, and got a Bronze. GOODJOB still I say! - walked to CompassPoint after dismissal with the band girls (CP after dismissal = oh-so-oldskool please!), listened to shocking latest gossips along the way, my my! - I still ♥ the band! (: - to gardens with Jared in the evening because Icecube has $6 waffle&icecream tuesdays now yay! .. yep aaanndd enough of exclaimation marks for now. today I havent done anything that's worth exclaiming yet, so we shall have fullstops. and timetable'll be out at 10am tomorrow, aahhh fingers crossed, I'd like nice school time slots please. Sunday, April 15, 2007 @ 11:11 pm  mhmm a pretty satisfying week its been! meeting up with my favourite people all, loads of laughter and fun, finally getting down to some retreat planning, an uber good meal with the yv fellas at Oosters with fantastic beer, Shooter, and a joyride to end yesterday, & in town today i got new stationery and underwear heehee! sooo many things I wanna do still, but there's only a week left (pfftt, with no one much left to spend it with because everyone else begins lessons tmr!). sigh. still contemplating if I should go for tmr's Synergy Leader thingy in school..I feel ill. anyhow. happy first week of school, you rp/np/sp friends! Tuesday, April 10, 2007 @ 8:37 pm days before school daze Yesterday, us old 1b20 people met to hang out. (: headed to vivo to meet Stef early because we were gonna go shop first! I attained 2 new blue bags yesterday, hehheh, very nice I must say. blue bags and me've got something going on, yo. :D Sidetrack ah, I srsly havent done physical shopping in a kazillion years man; so superdupershopping thru f21 and zara and allll yesterday felt pretty darn good! OH OH, and zara has such lovely kids clothes, nicer than their TRF line okaaay. just imagine Stef and I picking out tunics and tops meant for 11-13year olds - thats bout the largest size - and smuggling them to the dressing rooms to try on. it was reaaal cute though! hahah. right so Feli, and Gerald & Naysh came later on. the guys were supposed to head down to the restuarant first with Feli's surprise birthday cake but lol, seemed like vivo wasn't big enough aye! we met in the end (with "gerald's ah-ma's birthday cake" lol!) and ate at Akashi Jap Restaurant in the basement, mmm yum yum. then wenta catch Because I Said So. nobadd nobaddd (:   Enjoy your birthday babe! LOVEYOULOTS! ♥♥ -  Jared and I wenta IKEA today! hahaha that place is lovely, despite it being just one huge furniture mall. you walk around and you see such lovely sets of furniture and comfy beds and posh deco and things you know you def could somehow put to use at home, and a whole array of unique cool stuff.. makes you want to buy so so much and refurnish your whole room and whole house and everything all righttt! hahaha ikea always makes me very excited like that I tell you, no idea why!  zomg, this nice chair and I had matching outfits today! lol   haha this fella sleeps anytime, anywhere..  their famous swedish meatballs, you gotta love em man. eh and the potatoes there taste somewhat better than anywhere else too ah! i likkeee. (:  they always have such cool furniture and toys for kids yea? I swear I'll get my kids such cool room stuff next time. YEAAA! >:)  he found this compact bed-cum-work-space thingy..  ..and i found this hughass walk-in wadrobe that is to die for man!! K thats it. Mommy I wanna refurnish the rooms, please! ... aye but school's starting in 2 weeks. at least school = pocket money. Happy Easter everybody! its been a good holy week, (though tts not quite so much in the holy sense, lol). 10 of us squeezed in an SUV and visited st anne's, nativity, and ihm on holy thursday night, good friday: church pepperlunch vaio-ness car drives stations of the cross and IceCube for supper, deathnote anime eastervigil mass with YV and a good wrap-up party at sherlyn's for Holy Saturday today. oh, and Happy Birthday to gab too! :)  Wednesday, April 04, 2007 @ 10:21 pm boom chichi boom chi! psh. I feel a bad flu coming on. ugghhhh, my throat.. camp-o camp. well well, the last two days were alright i guess. usual activities, we did high elements and field cooking and mass dances and all that cheer cheer games games stuff. got lotsa exercise and sun-tanning done too yay! lol ayee but felt a lil out-of-place and uncomfortable through everything this time. *shrugs* cliqued with only a few, thank god for people like Feli and Christabel being there (& ponning 3rd day with me too!). man i kinda really miss the camps and stuff we used to do in sec school. anyway, survived first two days and decided to leave before the third, team pooper or not. camped over at jared's and we headed to town today to check out cool laptops and cars, sigh but with not much success for the latter. HAHA new things we can go town to do now huh! was craving for Aston's fer dinner, but it was closed today so we ended up at Yuen Yeung.. hk cheese baked salmon & rice again (lol i last ate it on sunday). a very wallet-friendly tummy-satisfying meal, ohh double-happiness. :)) |
